Marketplaces – a specific topic of CJF-2022. Spring
On the first day of CJF – Child and Junior Fashion. Spring opened today at Expocentre Fairgrounds, the Forum on the Children's Fashion: How to Enter Marketplaces and Not Run at a Loss started. The forum was organised by EXPOCENTRE AO in partnership with XWAY.
XWAY is the largest official operating partner of Russian and international marketplaces: AliExpress, Wildberries, Ozon, Lamoda, Yandex.Market, SberMegaMarket, M.Video, Eldorado, Hoff, Amazon. The company helps sellers enter and develop marketplaces and provides a wide range of services: from content creation and shop promotion to logistics and order management.
During the Forum, XWAY representatives reported on the development of e-com (e-commerce) in 2021, the main trends in online trading of children's goods that will continue this year, and the specifics of selling children's clothing and shoes on the major marketplaces Wildberries, Ozon and AliExpress.
For their part, representatives of marketplaces spoke about the categories of children's goods on their platforms and presented successful cases of shop opening and development.
In particular, XWAY CEO Anton Larin, Executive Director Vadim Solynin and CIO Alexey Svetlovsky took part in the event.
Experts covered a wide range of topics, from business transformation towards omni-channel trading to sales management through IT developments and flexible infrastructure, as well as state support measures for marketplaces.
The discussion provided examples of marketplaces that have been able to improve their product cards, improve category breakdowns and competently analyse prices and turnover.
