25th International Exhibition for the Children's Industry
Mir Detstva is the main trade show in the industry of goods and services for children and teenagers in Russia and Eastern Europe. The show brings together leading Russian and foreign manufacturers and distributors of goods and services for children and promotes safe and affordable products of high quality for Russian children.
Mir Detstva was launched by Expocentre in 1994. The first edition brought together 73 companies. This year’s edition is anniversary. The 25-year history of Mir Detstva followed the development of the industry. Every year the show introduces new companies and brands.

Show Highlights
Small and medium sized companies are supported by regional centres form 25 regions of Russia. These companies have a great opportunity to showcase their products at the highest level possible.
The most fascinating event of the show is the 20th edition of the Moscow International Festival of Balloons organised by Europa Uno Trade. It is supported by Expocentre AO and the world's leading manufacturers of balloons, accessories and equipment.
Supporting Events
The key event of Mir Detstva is the Congress of the Children's Goods Industry, organised by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade with support of Expocentre AO.
The Russian Federal Service for Accreditation (RusAccreditation), the Association of Children's Goods Industry Enterprises with support of Expocentre AO will hold a meeting on conformation of safety of goods for children. A meeting on foreign economic activities in the children's industry: new priorities and opportunities will be organised by the General Department of Organisation of Customs Processing and Customs Control and the Customs Risk Management Department of the Russian Federal Customs Service, the Association of Children's Goods Industry Enterprises, with support of Expocentre AO.
One of the key events is the 17th Russian Trade Forum for Children's Goods Suppliers with the Purchasing Centre for Retail Chains™: Children's Goods, organised by Imperia and Expocentre. The forum will open with an analytical session where representatives of Ipsos ComCon, Nielsen, NPD Group Russia and other thank tank agencies will talk about the market made for the digital generation of children, parents and retailers.
The Purchasing Centre for Retail Chains™: Children's Goods will welcome more than 70 buyers from 40+ major retail chains and online stores. The briefing with retail chains, online stores and markets about purchasing and assortment rotation will have representatives of Auchan, Dochki-Synochki, Perekrestok, Familia, Lamoda, Mamsy, Ozon, Rospechat, Globus, Olant, Kari, Mosigra and many other retail chains participating.
This year's Licensing Marketplace will have more than 20 workshops and master classes for manufacturers of goods for children, wholesalers, retailers, exhibitors, visitors, and others interested in licensing.
The Day of Supplementary Education will feature workshops from leaders of supplementary education and state-run educational centres such as the Federal Institute of Education Development, the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, and the Yasam Network of Early Childhood Development Centres.
The meetup "A child successful since birth: global practices and trends" will be moderated by research fellow at the Federal Institute of Education Development Irina Popova.
Workshops on mom communities as the main trend to promote educational services and goods for children, and robotics and neuroeducation: technology integration as practice of the future will have among its participants Head of the Academy of Innovative Education and Development Olga Rubtsova, author of the Yasam early childhood development Yulia Alekseeva, fellow researcher at the Institute of Childhood, Family and Education Studies of the Russian Academy of Education Khmaira Zagladia, and other experts.
The first Interactive Area will offer various presentations, press conferences, master classes, etc. One of the most important events is the Conference on Promotion of Children's Brands in the Blogosphere, organised by Pink Communications and Expocentre. It will show its participants how closely online promotion and advertising are connected with the blogosphere and social networks, and how to use these resources to promote children’s brands and increase profits.
